Rudy Ricciotti

21 architectural firms of international renown took part in the architectural competition Les Arts Gstaad. The jury voted unanimously to award the prize to French architect Rudy Ricciotti. Ricciotti was awarded the French Grand Prix national de l’architecture in 2006 for his design for the Pavillon Noir in Aix-en-Provence. He remodelled the Nikolai concert hall in Potsdam, Germany and also designed the Musée Jean Cocteau in Menton, the new Department of Islamic Art at the Louvre in Paris and the Museum of European and Mediterranean civilisations in Marseilles.
